THIS IS NOT A FIRST AID CLASS. At this class you will learn the skills to keep a trauma victim alive when minutes, or even seconds count, until emergency personnel arrive.
The class includes the following:
How to properly apply a tourniquet (hands on)
How to properly plug/pack a wound (hands on)
How to properly seal a chest or back wound where air is escaping
Different types of shock and how to treat people in shock
and much more.....

Women On the Range is available only to women — it’s a safe and friendly environment whether you’re picking up a gun for the very first time or are just brushing off some dust and need a little refresher. You’ll immediately feel at ease in the half- or full-day clinics, and will be provided with a hands-on, one-of-a-kind experience. No experience or equipment is necessary to participate.
Class begins with continental breakfast during registration and introductions followed by 3 hours of classroom instruction on the safe handling and operation of firearms and archery equiupment.
After lunch, which will be provided, participants will move to club ranges where you will be given the opportunity to shoot the following firearms under the direction of experienced trainers:
Handguns: Revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
Rifles: Bolt action and semi-automatic rifles
Primitive firearms: Black powder rifles and handguns
Shotguns: Trap shooting with our club experts
Archery: Instruction from members of our members of our archery committee.
All firearms and archery equipment and ammunition/arrows will be provided.
