What is it:
Women On the Range is a women-only, welcoming environment designed for experience levels from complete beginners to those looking to refresh their skills. This full-day, hands-on clinic offers a safe and supportive introduction to shooting/archery sports.
No LTC, prior experience, or personal equipment is required. FSC Members and Non-Members are welcome!
The day begins with registration, introductions, and a continental breakfast, followed by a brief overview of range safety and our flag system. Participants will then break into small groups and rotate through morning stations before lunch. After a provided lunch, groups will complete the remaining stations.
Activities include:
- Handguns (revolvers and semi-automatic pistols)
- Rifles (small caliber)
- Primitive firearms (black powder)
- Shotguns (trap shooting with club experts)
- Archery (guided by experienced instructors)
All equipment, ammunition, and arrows are provided. Participants will also receive goodie bags, eye and ear protection, and refreshments.
